The Da Vinci Code

You guys all know about the famous "The Da Vinci Code", right? I read the book and I loved it. Sure, some parts were confusing. OK, a lot of it was-- but I loved it nonetheless.

I was really excited later to hear that there would be a movie coming out too. But then I was slightly disappointed when I found out that Tom Hanks would starring Robert Langdon. Why? Simply because of the fact that Tom Hanks is much older than the young Langdon, so I didn't see how he'd be able to portray the character. But now I've discovered a trailer of the movie (while surfing Gaia Online, of all places) and I've seen what Tom Hanks looks like in the movie and... I'm just blown away.

Sure, Langdon is, at least for me, a little bit younger, but wow! I didn't expect such a age transformation from Tom Hanks! It made me literally go wide eyed. Those make-up artists sure out-did themselves. He also lost a lot weight, hehe.

So, yeah. Now I'm a bit more positive about the movie. He still got's his couple of wrinkles here and there, but it's bearable, I guess. After watching the trailer, I'd say the movie looks pretty cool and promising. All I'm worried about now is that they're gonna make it into one of those goofy action movies where all they do is punch people in the face and add some special effects and stunts...

But we'll see.

P.S. You can see the trailer here.

Don't mind her. She's rambling.

♬ ~ "Can't Lose What You Never Had" - Westlife

These stupid kids outside have been screaming they're heads off for a while and it's starting to really bug me. Someone needs to really slap them! Seriously.

I really wanted to go and do something with my friends today, Cristina and Ana Paula, but in the end after calling and they giving me an almost postive answer that they'd go, one was too tired and wanted to stay home, and the other's mother didn't let her -- besides, she had her boyfriend to babysit, Gustavo. Yeah, I know. I sound so mean! But it annoys me. Whatever.

What else can I talk about?

This person draws really well. Her artwork is awesome and her style is unique. I admire her drawing skills. I'd like to try and get a similar style like her's...

One of my problems is that besides constantly being frustrated with my drawings --whatever the reason may be--, I can't seem to choose a style... or find one, for that matter. Sometimes when I look at an artist's drawing and sketches, I think Ooh, I like that! That's what I'll base my style on.. But then I look at another artist I admire and think the same thing, and there is my dilema. I can't seem to choose. I like so many different styles, it's hard to fit them all together. Oh well...

Did you know anything possibly good as far as videogames and movies are all coming out in March? Is it because March is supposed to be the beginning of Spring or something...? Okay, that was totally random.

Anyway, I'm kind of blank now as far as what to talk about. So I guess this is where my post ends...

I'm Riku-high.

I'm not going to start with OMG like I normally do. But yes, oh-my-gosh, my obsession for Riku has been revived once again! I even have him on my desktop to flaunt if anyone chooses to peek...

Yes, this Riku is older and cooler and is from the sequel KH2~ You may consider it as spoiler material but honestly, I don't care! Anything Riku-ness is awesome. Besides, it's not like it's giving away anything of zee plot... I think. Whatever! Don't ponder the plot, just admire the eye-candy!

I know they're only two and they're tiny, but trust me, the bigger ones are bad quality and... I like these ones! Man, this makes me want to finish KH ASAP so then I can start playing KH:CoM and then once finished, I can finally play KH2 which I think will be coming out this year for the US. Then I could finally catch up and not be so darn behind!

Serously, it's really annoying when everybody seems to know more than you and you're forced to be left in the dark about it! Anyway, sorry I don't have many pictures... Hope you were amused or entertained somehow or other.

Warning! Weirdness awaits.

♬ ~ "Dreamer" - Bethany Dillon

I got an email from my mom today. I was happy, but upon replying to it I couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness. I may not feel it 24/7, but I do miss her every once in a while. Oh well. I guess I just gotta wait for her phone calls or maybe an email again if I'm lucky. Oh, yes, I forgot to mention: For the past couple of weeks my mom's been in India. That's why her contacting options are less.

On another completely different topic: I'm tired. It's 8:18 PM at this very moment and I'm tired. I'm also annoyed/frustrated/whatever. Seriously, I'm frowning... I don't know why though. I guess it's because I'm tired, who knows. Bleh.

Yeah, I'm weird right now...

I think I'm in love (or obsessed. same thing) with Howl's Moving Castle. Or Howl, for that matter. Whenever I see anything related to the movie (especially a pretty picture of my favorite wizard) I go all giddy like a little kid who just got a nice candy. Seriously, it's ridiculous! But what can you expect? Howl's an awesome *cough*sexy*cough* character! I just wanna hug him and not let go~ *ahem* ...And the movie's like a fantasy come true. =P

Man, I think this is my weirdest moment yet. Actually, scratch that! There's been worse. Chai is my witness for that, aren't ya? ;D

Oh! And did I say I cannot wait for March when Howl's Moving Castle will be released in DVD?!

P.S. That loveable icon was not made by me, but by someone else much more talented...

Thy play is very annoying.

♬ - "Quando, Quando, Quando" - Micheal Bublé & Nelly Furtado

The week is over, finally! And yet, that makes me uneasy. Why? Because the weekend is going to go by faster than a blink and before I know it it's going to be back to the torture we call "school". I'm posting mostly because I'm bored. So pardon me if I don't have any anything really interesting to say...

Um... I'm kind of speechless as what to really talk about. Darn, this is annoying!

Oh! The play. There's something. Well, it's kinda like this... Since this is the 8th grade now, we have to prepare a theatrical play to present at the end of the year. It's sort of their tradition that every 8th grade class has gotta do it. Last year's 8th grade class did it too (and very well, I might add) and now it's our turn, unfortunately. So far we've only read the script of the play this first week. We still haven't officially made a decision on who's going to be who, but some of my classmates already know who they want to be (lucky them! I want to be "nobody").

We also are going to make the clothes for the play. Yes, you heard me right. We, the students, will make them. With a help of a specific teacher, of course. And every week now we're going to have classes to help us prepare for the play and all... I sure didn't like the first class. Not only was I extremely embarrased (I don't like it when all the attention is centered to me), but I also kept on messing up on the stupid words from the script. But anyway...

Oh, and the play is a play by William Shakespeare called "The Winters Tale" (In English, that is. The title in Portuguese is obviously different.)

So yeah... That was something to talk about. Kinda.
