I was woken up by my mom as always, only she said happy birthday to me. When I arrived at school, after doing the morning routine, one of my classmates, Eduarda, remembered that it was my birthday, and that's when they congradulated me, and when my teacher asked if I brought a cake. I said no, because my mom was feeling really sick yesterday. After Geography we had a snack like usual, then in English Ms. Liliza sang "happy birthday" in english
and in french! XD After knitting, it was Spanish. A new teacher has now took the place of the old one. He was really nice, but I was really embrassed whem he asked my name, because I had to answer in Spanish... and to be blunt, I barely know any spanish, though I can understand the gist of what he was saying. I just got confused when he asked for my nickname and my last name, and ended up mixing up the words! Once it was mentioned that it was my birthday, they sang it in Spanish.
When I got home, all the doors were closed up stairs. Manuela and my mom were whispering... I at first got suspicious, by I pushed it aside. I was suprised when my mom opened the door of my room. It's full of baloons, and even has a sign saying "Feliz Aniversario!" which means Happy Birthday in Portuguese. But not only that! It was
spotless! O___O It made me realize how messy I am.
I then took the little scrap of paper I was holding on and wanted to show my mom something, but when I looked in her room she wasn't there. I looked in my dad's room and they both were there, gathering suspicious looking bags and writing in cards. I made a motion to show I was there and they shooed me away. So I waited in my room, feeling quite guilty, and when they brought the presents in, I found some clothes, beautiful earings, a digital clock, a cellphone holder, and some clips for my hair. The earings are my favorite, though. There's one that I am wearing at this very moment. It's a miniture Tink with torquise wings. Except it's not Tink.
I thanked my parents (feeling still a bit guilty) but when I was just about to go on the computer, I saw my parents making obvious gestures that they didn't want me to hear what they were saying. That's when I had a strong suspicion that this wasn't the end when my mom called me down stairs. I just didn't expect a gorgeous cake to be awaiting me. I took a picture. Unfortunetely, there wasn't enough time to take a picture of the whole cake. Literally!
Then after being stuffed with sugar I went upstairs back on the computer and started typing this! After about 3 paragraphs Ana Paula called me (because she didn't come to school today) to say happy birthday and then we ended up talking nearly 2 hours! I haven't talked that much on the phone for a really long time!
Anyway... I need to finish some homework. It's very very very little, thankfully.
(Just if you're curious... I started this some time past 4 o'clock, and ended close to 7:00)
