When I got home, all the doors were closed up stairs. Manuela and my mom were whispering... I at first got suspicious, by I pushed it aside. I was suprised when my mom opened the door of my room. It's full of baloons, and even has a sign saying "Feliz Aniversario!" which means Happy Birthday in Portuguese. But not only that! It was spotless! O___O It made me realize how messy I am.
I then took the little scrap of paper I was holding on and wanted to show my mom something, but when I looked in her room she wasn't there. I looked in my dad's room and they both were there, gathering suspicious looking bags and writing in cards. I made a motion to show I was there and they shooed me away. So I waited in my room, feeling quite guilty, and when they brought the presents in, I found some clothes, beautiful earings, a digital clock, a cellphone holder, and some clips for my hair. The earings are my favorite, though. There's one that I am wearing at this very moment. It's a miniture Tink with torquise wings. Except it's not Tink.
I thanked my parents (feeling still a bit guilty) but when I was just about to go on the computer, I saw my parents making obvious gestures that they didn't want me to hear what they were saying. That's when I had a strong suspicion that this wasn't the end when my mom called me down stairs. I just didn't expect a gorgeous cake to be awaiting me. I took a picture. Unfortunetely, there wasn't enough time to take a picture of the whole cake. Literally!
Then after being stuffed with sugar I went upstairs back on the computer and started typing this! After about 3 paragraphs Ana Paula called me (because she didn't come to school today) to say happy birthday and then we ended up talking nearly 2 hours! I haven't talked that much on the phone for a really long time!
Anyway... I need to finish some homework. It's very very very little, thankfully.
(Just if you're curious... I started this some time past 4 o'clock, and ended close to 7:00)
