What am I supposed to say?

Yeah. I finished the book.

But there is one thing I can say: the last paragraph of the book was the sweetest.

Who can watch a movie twice in the same week?

I can. (Yeah, go ahead. Say it. I'm crazy.) >=D

And that's what I'm gonna do tomorrow, hopefully. I chatted with Cristina today on Yahoo! Messenger, and we ended up fixing up the idea of going to the mall to watch a movie. What movie? Howl's Moving Castle, of course. I mean, come on! I gotta have at least one person to talk about it! Besides, she really wants to see after I introduced her to Spirited Away.

It's gonna be with a bunch of people, though. With her mom, maybe her brother and sister, plus some people from school. But they can choose what they wanna watch. I'm gonna watch HMC with Cristina, no matter what! >:D Then after that, I'm gonna sleep over at her apartment. Hope it all works out in zee end.

Harry Potter: and the Half-Blood Prince

I'm holding it right now, in my hands. Harry Potter: and the Half-Blood Prince, the British edition. It smells strongly of plastic... I can't seem to muster the courage to open it, though.

Oh, what the heck! XD

Finally found the right word. "Drabble".

There you go, Chai. I took your advice. One thing I know for sure, it doesn't flow much like your writing. I just ain't happy with the result. Oh, and by the way, this is a description of the girl who jumps off the cliff. Yeah. (The stupid "New Post" link took so darn long to load. It's been doing that a lot. T__T)

Her form was small considering her age. She seemed to have traveled to many places and yet her skin was pale. She walked as if she had a heavy burden on her shoulders, but there was still some grace left in her. Her eyes, almost the color of rain clouds, looked heavy and saddened. Her hair was of normal length for any girl her age, just ending a little bit after the shoulders, which always seemed to have a golden shine.

But it was also her garments that made her strange. It was a dress of pure white, spotless, with only the slightest ting of a fake golden border on the top and bottom of the dress. She wore no shoes nor jewelry. Just that one little dress.

She was so well kept and clean, and yet she wore no pairs of shoes when she walked. What could a child like her be doing barefoot in a strange dress with such a sad look on her face? As if she knew... there was trouble coming, and she could do nothing.

But that is merely what people assume when they see her passing through the many towns and valleys. That is what they see... but they know very little.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

.....

Two words.

VERY WEIRD.

Friday, July 22, 2005

Good old fun!

For the period of breakfast till around 3 o'clock I was on the computer. I know, that's not healthy! But I at least accomplished something, since I worked more on my site. It makes me feel a bit satisfied with myself, if only a little teeny bit.

Anyway, I have something to show you peeps! I'm sure all of you KH fans already know about it but I'm pretty sure Cha--- um, a certain person doesn't. And that's Kingdom Hearts the manga! (As weird as it sounds, though, it's read left to right, western-style.) It's been online for quite a while, already a lot translated, but I decided to read the first couple chapters again today to amuse myself. Now I know it's now officially licensed by Tokyopop, but what the heck! I'm just gonna show my favorite pages.

Now, *ahem* starting from Chapter 1. The appearance of Riku makes me giddy, so of course he's on the first page to be shown! First two pages, actually. I simply adore Riku's knowing smirk and Sora's reaction!

Now on to Chapter 3. Here we have Riku once again, showing off his corruptive-ness, woo!

Skipping a couple chapters, now we find Sora exploring Traverse Town! What a creepy lady...

Still on the same chapter as before, Sora runs for his life, away from the huge group of Heartless, and coincidentally stumbles into Cid's shop. These pages me make me just love Cid.

Now on to the Omake! This goes past the second volume, which I haven't read yet since I don't want any spoilers. But the omake is too good to resist. No spoilers there.

Whew! Now that was fun, wasn't it?!

Thursday, July 21, 2005

Blah...

Okay, so here I am. In a couple of minutes it'll be 4 o'clock. And here I am, at the computer, with nothing interesting to do. My parents went out on errands, and the only person online is Radhika, and we just decided to stop because we were running out of things to say.

Despite all that, I feel a little content/accomplished. It's silly, but I guess it's because I finally moved my lazy bum and started making the pages for my "collective".

I'm not listening to nothing in particular. Mostly pop-ish stuff, and I'm getting sick of it. But that's what Pop does. It gets stuck in your head and eventually gets to you. Unless it's a really good song, then it doesn't happen.

Ugh... this is not fun at the moment. ¬__¬

All I can draw lately are doodles.

This one I did yesterday, obviously. Call it a girl, a guy, whichever you prefer. I like the overall expression. (Click on it!)

Yeah, it's an elf. I kinda cheated by drawing one ear and then copying and pasting it and putting it on the other side. I also did the same thing with the eyes, earrings, and shoulders. This one could also be a guy or a girl, I guess.

Quizzes... (again.)

You May Be a Bit Dependent ...

You're more than a little preoccupied with being abandoned. You need a lot of support in your life, at all times. It's difficult for you to survive on your own... And you don't reallly think you ever could.

There's no doubt, I'm very dependant.

You are pure, moral, and adaptable.
You tend to blend into your surroundings.
Shy on the outside, you're outspoken to your friends.

You believe that you live a virtuous life...
And you tend to judge others with a harsh eye.
As a result, people tend to crave your approval.

Somewhat true...

Your IQ Is 90

Your Logical Intelligence is Average
Your Verbal Intelligence is Above Average
Your Mathematical Intelligence is Average
Your General Knowledge is Above Average

I didn't like this quiz. No fun at all. I mean, how can it if it has Math in it? Besides, I'm terrible at solving word problems. Some of the questions I even asnwered randomly, since I didn't want to do the Math.

You Are In a Fantastic Mood

You're confident, focused, and on top of your game. People are attracted to your energy right now. This is the time to go for it - you're likely to get what you want!

WEIRD. O__O

You Are Somewhat Honest

You do tend to tell the truth a lot.. but you also stretch the truth on occasion You figure a little lie isn't a big deal as long as it doesn't hurt anyone too much!

Hehe. That may true.

You Are 45% Normal
(Somewhat Normal)

While some of your behavior is quite normal... Other things you do are downright strange. You've got a little of your freak going on. But you mostly keep your weirdness to yourself.

That picture is creepy...

You are 53% Taurus

You Are "Wow"!

John Kerry

Just for fun, lol!

Don't laugh!

Please, just don't. It may look kind of odd since the proportions are not perfect, but please, don't laugh. This is the design for one of my characters. She appears in Vaal's story. I already am showing the notes on the drawing, but if you can't read them, they are the following:

Notes!
• Transparent (white) shawl,
• White dress.
• Details on dress: gold & silver.
• Black, wavy, long, hair.
• Green eyes.
• Pale pink lips.
• Long, thin fingers.

I thought it was necessary to show the back of the shawl, that way the viewer can see that it's tied at the end so it doesn't drag on the floor like the dress does. I also didn't think it was necessary to draw the hands, because for one, I don't like drawing them, and two, there's nothing special about them. So it's not necessary. Oh, and her hair is almost as long as the shawl, lol! (Click on it to see a bigger version.)

Wheeeeee...

I simply love how this came out. And that's the first time ever. I doodled this on Photoshop as usual, only I decided to change to the soft lines instead of the rough kinds I've been using lately.

When I asked my mom what she thought of his expression she said he looked astonished. But then I told her that wasn't it, he's supposed to be looking in another direction and speaking. But she just shrugged and said it could be either one. Well, it's not gonna be "astonished," okay? So there.

Oh, and don't forget to tell me what you think! (Psst! Click on it to see a bigger version!) And yeah. I am aware there are quite a few mistakes, so no need to repeat those again.

Some actual info!

Hey there! Sorry about my latest entries. Normally I'd be rambling about my life and it's latest happenings, like when on Wednesday I went to the mall with Ana Paula and we ended up missing our movie because we got there late. Then we had to wait in this humungo line that lasted for almost 1 hour and a half, and once we got to the register, we missed the other time for the movie again. Luckily, Madagascar was just about to start in 5 minutes, so we just ended up grabbing those tickets instead. It was fun even if we weren't able to see War of the Worlds. Besides, the movie was funnier than I expected, and quite cool in general. And ironically, we met four kids from our school there.

And today I hanged out at Cristina's apartment after lunch. I brought the D.N. Angel volumes I got and we read some together (it being my second time, lol.) But we weren't able to read all of them. I had even brought the two volumes of Ranma 1/2 but we weren't even able to touch them becuase of the lack of time and desire to read D.N. Angel. But it was still fun. I unfortunately had to leave around five o'clock, though!

Now I'm just lazing on the computer, having nothing that much to do. I wanted to search this name of this one song I heard on the radio coming back with my dad, but I forgot the name of it!! It was a duet and an obvious oldie. It was so romantic! I'm a real sucker for those kind of songs!

That's all I can think of writing. Er, "typing" actually. But it's pretty much the same thing, right? Yeah.

Quizzes, 'cause I'm kinda bored.

I found this quiz at one person's blog. She makes such pretty layouts at her domain.

Listening to: "Without You" - Final Fantasy X-2 Vocal Collection

As strange as this may sound, I started this doodle like... maybe not even last month. At that time, I got bored and only ended up finishing the face, eyes, and nose. After that, I eventually forgot that it even existed on my hard-drive.

But today I just happened to be browsing through my files and found it again. I had no idea how it was going to really turn out, not even at the beginning. So.. yeah. It ended up being like it is now. "Athletic Girl," is what I'm calling it. At least I think that's what she looks like, athletic and confident and all that stuff...

Yeah, I still don't have my own signature... I just scribbled whatever.

Bored

Okay, so I was really bored this morning and... yeah. So I was surfing the net as usual, and, er, I eventually stumbled into LiveJournal and ended up peeking through this one guy's journal, and then I found this chunk full of quizzes in one of his entries. I couldn't resist.

Most of the quizzes are stupidly done... but whatever. I'm bored.

Which Riku Are You?

- O-M-G. "Baby" Riku is the cutest thing... ToT;;

ER... I would have posted more of the quizzes, but I kind of got creeped out when I got the results for them since, er... they're kind of perverted.

Anyway... since I just showed a quiz featuring Riku, I guess I might as well advertise this oh-so-wonderful shrine dedicated to him. It's so cool. And the information is so true. But SPOILERS await in almost every corner.

I put in a new icon~! It's an official sign that I have a new obsession.

Oh, and I found these at the shrine too~

They're hectic, I know. @____@;;

I just can't say it enough...

Listening to: Waterloo - ABBA

O-M-G. Like, seriously. I have to say that again. OMG! Dark is like... so... No. Dark is too good looking. SERIOUSLY. I mean, he's just too cool in Volume 3. I mean, like... I'm speechless.

Yep, after chatting with Chai, it was around 10:30 P.M. that I got in bed, and I stayed up reading Vol. 3 till past 11:30, dude. And now I wake up around 7 A.M. Crazy, I know.

And O-M-G! Daisuke is so cool in this volume too. I know one thing for sure: Vol. 3 is way better than the 2nd. And Omg... I couldn't stop smiling when Daisuke transformed into Dark but Dark was stuck in Daisuke's apearance. He makes such a cute flirt...♥ *snicker*

I swear, though, that through the whole volume I was overcome by girlish giggles. I couldn't stop! I even managed to laugh out loud some times, and I was so paranoid I'd wake somone up! *snickers some more*

But seriously... Yukiru Sugisaki-san must have some gift to draw such pretty and handsome people. I mean... wow. Just wow.

Oh, and another thing! Keiji Saga, the guy who kidnaps Daisuke, is so funny~! (He's so eccentric!) I mean, so was Daisuke's reaction when he said "UNDRESS", LOL. And his sucurity guys gossip about him, too~ But the coolest persong in the Saga Entertainment group has gotta be Keiji's assistant/buddy/sidekick. He seems to be the only one sane enough to deal with the poor Keiji.*snicker* And he's so nice to the kids!

Ooh, who did I forget to mention? Ah. Kosuke (A.K.A. Dai's dad) and Satoshi. Well, Kosuke was cool in his own fatherly-ish way. I mean, come on! He's helped his son quite a bit. *smiles* But, oh, Satoshi! He was mysterious as ever, but seems to be getting more emotionally involved, mwahahaha~ *evil grin* I love that!

And I loved that one chapter where Daisuke is "stuck" in Dark's body and doesn't want to come out. Sure, Dark's a bit of a jerk then at the beginning, but then he shows his sweet side. *grins*

What else? Uh, yeah. There's no doubt that this volume was so much cooler. It brought up so many more questions and complications, I love it! And omg... the "Omake" was so cool~! *grins some more*

Uh-oh. This is a dangerous sign of another obsession coming to form. Duck for cover~!

My parents are SO weird. I swear! One minute they’re screaming their head offs, then they’re laughing about the strangest things. My family is crazy. Even my mom admitted that.

And then... later, my mom starts crying. Go figure.

Bummer...

Ugh, this sucks. I was hoping after talking with Ana Paula that I would be able to go to the theaters with her to see War of Worlds, around 3:30-ish, but it didn’t work out. My mom can’t take me. So now, because Ana Paula will be gone till Saturday, I’ll have to wait till Sunday for the movies. ;___; *sniff* Another day wasting at home.

...Uh, I have nothing much to talk about. I mean, I would talk about the latest crazy happenings, but I can't, and I also don't want to (because trying to bring back the day of yesterday creeps me out!)

And here comes the prince!

☀ Listening to: Water Runs Dry - Chuck Loeb

I wrote this early this afternoon on one of my notebooks. But while I was typing it in Word just an hour ago, I ended up changing parts I didn’t like so much. Now I’m more satisfied with it. (P.S. This is the continuation of the one I wrote before.)

The sun was especially bright that day. And the prince had to admit, the fan he was using inside the carriage wasn’t helping. He opened the silk curtains to take a look outside. He blinked, while squinting at the bright blue sky. He wasn’t used to it, what with all the time he spent every day in his room studying. But he spotted something that caught his interest. He squinted his eyes to see, but with all the sun shining in his eyes it was too hard. All he could see was a blur. He frowned and scowled.

“Stop the carriage,” he called to his guards. When it was stopped, the door was opened for him. As he stepped out, he barely noticed the scenery of the forest valley, but concentrated on what he saw earlier and started walking forward. One of his men tried stopping him.

“Your Highness, there is no need to walk. Please, w-wait while I get your—“ But the prince interrupted him with a wave of his hand and continued walking. He could see it clearly, finally. It was a girl sprawled on the ground. He quickened his pace just a notch. When he got closer, he saw how young she was. She must be at least fifteen, two years younger than I, he mused. He quickly called one of his guards to come.

“Is she dead?” the prince asked, when the man had arrived. The man bent down and felt her pulse. “She’s breathing normally, Your Highness.”

“Good. Then we shall take her to the palace for further inspection."
“Y-yes, but of course,” the man stamperred while he called for the others to help lift her. When she was carried to the carriage, the prince took acknowledge of the scenery for the first time, but made no motion that he enjoyed it. He merely stared and thought, Yes, she must be the girl who I’ve been having dreams of... Then, with a quick hand through his sandy blonde hair, he turned and walked back to the carriage, where they started off once again, back to the palace.

Now I know how Chai feels everytime she manages to write something.

♪ Listening to: Madrona - David Lanz

I have had a lot of concepts in my head. I have the one consisting of Vaal and other characters, another consisting of other characters, another consisting of other characters, and this one.

I already had an idea of the beginning of it. Not a complete idea, just some flashes of it. But this, this, was unexpected. It just popped in my head out of nowhere, and I started writing it on a peice of paper. So this shall be the first part of the beginning of another one of my stories. The cool part though, is that I already have an idea what's gonna happen next since I already made some plans. I'm not gonna tell, though. Hehehe, I'm evil! >D

She had decided. She was going to jump. She took a step foward with her eyes still closed. Then she opened them. She was in a valley, so beautiful it was, that words could not describe it. Yet her small form was stubbornly on a cliff. The girl observed the scenery around her slowly, taking it in. As the cool breeze blew through her golden tresses and rustled through her white dress, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. When she opened her eyes again, her expression was of deep sorrow. With her bare feet on tip toe, and her arms stretched wide, she jumped off. As she continued to fall, she could feel herself falling faster. She closed her eyes once again, while enjoying the feeling of the wind blow through her. But the strange part was... she didn't hit the ground.

Yup, you're gonna have to wait to see what happens. Oh, by the way: This is COPYRIGHTED TO MUAH, ME, AND ONLY ME. NO STEALING!

Just needed to mention that, hehe...

This is why I like videogames and books so much. Music too. It makes it so much more easier to forget reality for a while. Especially when reality can be so frustrating, like mine. Sometimes it's just necessary to ignore it for a bit to relax, like living in another world, in another person's shoes.

Not that my day sucks. After all, let's look at the bright side: it's a beautiful day outside, I have no school, no homework, and I can do almost anything I want because of that.

But unfortunately, I wasn't able to run away from reality for long. But let's not get all negative and depressed like I'd normally become. No, no. I'm just not going to let "reality" ruin my day. No way. I'm gonna be stubborn about it! >D

P.S. Yeah, yeah. I notice that I'm not mentioning what this problem of "reality" is, but I simply can't and don't want to. You'll have to approach me personally to get something, hehe. XD

I've only read the 14th and 15th edition of "X/1999" in Portuguese, but it's enough to tell me it's way cool. I recommend it to anybody who likes mystery, action, intrigue, and of course, CLAMP.

"Vacation" Cherish those words...

Vacation - 1. A scheduled period during which the activities of courts, schools, or other regular businesses are suspended. 2. A period of time devoted to rest, travel, or recreation.

Yes, it's true! I am officially in vacation now, since today was the very last day of school. I remember yesterday passing the day without any homework. It made me feel so nervous, after all, I was so accustomed to having to remember what homework I still needed to do and if I did everything. It was ridiculous!

I don't have anything specific to talk about. I might've yesterday, or the day before, but not today. Not yet, anyway. So I guess I'll talk about anything that pops in my mind. Okay, here we go.

I cannot stop gawking at Akira Himegawa's talent!! It just makes me admire it more then before. You must, whoever you are on the other side of the computer screen, go here and start reading "Four Swords Plus". It's so cute, and even has it's own coolness to it~! It's just soo... *sighs dramatically*

I played a bit of Harvest Moon: AWL from my neglected GameCube yesterday, and even though I only played for like 1 hour and a 1/2, it was so much fun! I started a new game last month even though I hadn't finished my first, so I'm in the first chapter still. It's the quickest I've ever gotten a wife, though. From my first game, I chose Celia. For my second I thought Muffy would be a nice change since I never tried her. She's way too easy to charm. Celia's a bit more difficult.

It was funny at school today. At least I thought it was, since I wasn’t the one being harrassed. See, for the past 3 days the boys from my class have made it a must to chase and harrass any girl they can find. Saying things like “Come on! Just one little kiss!”If they refuse, they run after you. They’re only playing around, though. Bianca told me yesterday that I was lucky, since I’m a new student, therefore they don’t bother me. Today, once all the classes were finished, everybody was waiting for their parents to arrive. I had my bag on my shoulder and my finished wood-work in my hands. Iago was on his cell-phone (maybe he was faking, who knows) and that’s when he jokingly says “Let’s be friends! Give me a hug!”Since I was basically standing right in front of him, with my wood-work in my hands, I did what first came into my head. I lightly bonked him on the head with it. Then everybody started laughing. It was fun, heehee~

….I guess that’s all I have to report at the moment. It’s all I can remember, anyway!
