I have had a lot of concepts in my head. I have the one consisting of Vaal and other characters, another consisting of other characters, another consisting of other characters, and this one.
I already had an idea of the beginning of it. Not a complete idea, just some flashes of it. But this, this, was unexpected. It just popped in my head out of nowhere, and I started writing it on a peice of paper. So this shall be the first part of the beginning of another one of my stories. The cool part though, is that I already have an idea what's gonna happen next since I already made some plans. I'm not gonna tell, though. Hehehe, I'm evil! >D
She had decided. She was going to jump. She took a step foward with her eyes still closed. Then she opened them. She was in a valley, so beautiful it was, that words could not describe it. Yet her small form was stubbornly on a cliff. The girl observed the scenery around her slowly, taking it in. As the cool breeze blew through her golden tresses and rustled through her white dress, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. When she opened her eyes again, her expression was of deep sorrow. With her bare feet on tip toe, and her arms stretched wide, she jumped off. As she continued to fall, she could feel herself falling faster. She closed her eyes once again, while enjoying the feeling of the wind blow through her. But the strange part was... she didn't hit the ground.
Yup, you're gonna have to wait to see what happens. Oh, by the way: This is COPYRIGHTED TO MUAH, ME, AND ONLY ME. NO STEALING!

OH. MY. GOD. I HATE YOU! Lol, joking! but seriously...you're one of those evil writers like me, who loves to leave cliffies (cliffies is short for cliffhangers, btw).
I am SO curious! WHY didn't she hit the ground? WHO is she? Is she meaning to commit suicide by jumping, and if she is, WHY?
Very good you are at making such questions pop into the readers' heads. Good job on suspense! And just enough spice of detailed description to make us feel a bit like we know what's going on, but not enough to distract from the action that's happening. Bravo, bravo! Lovely piece!
I was confused as to your intro. Is this part of your story with Vaal, or not? And are you gonna focus on your Vaal story, or this one, or another one? I HOPE that this is part of your story with Vaal Brooks in it, and I hope you continue writing, because I want to hear more about Vaal and his life and world, and about this girl jumpin' off the cliff.
W00t w00t on the story! Keep writin'!
(How dare you put my name in a posttitle! no, it's ok, actually. But I don't really get it - how does it relate to how I feel? Not knowing what to post? Or having random story pieces pop into one's head?
Oh, wait, I get it - having all the story ideas and various characters and being overwhelmed by it all, THAT'S the feeling you're talking about in your blogpost title, I think).
